AYACF
is a Nigerian based Non-Governmental Organization that seeks to
encourage, empower and educate TEENAGERS and YOUTHS across different
communities in Nigeria, using creative and innovative ideas that stand a chance
within the African context.
Formerly
known as Youth Positive Influence Organization (YPIO), before its recognition
under the Companies and Allied Matters Act No. 1 of 1990 Part C. YPIO was
founded by Adebimpe Ayodele (JP) on 27th of August, 2005. The
launching of the organization took place at the Ekiti State Cultural Centre, an
event that recorded attendance of 200 teenagers and youths from secondary
schools, tertiary institutions and out-of-school people. This organization has since then operated in the southern western part of Nigeria till date. However, AYACF was officially registered as a Nigerian based Non-Governmental Organization on 7th of May, 2013.
Vision
Improved
psycho-social development of teenagers and youths between ages 12-25 in both
school and out-of-school environments.
Mission
To
help teenagers and youths connect the dots of learning, opportunity and
development.
Our
Motivation
The
need to try out newer ideas and innovation, since the existing system seems to
be lagging in the areas of education, Health Support, Capacity Building and
Leadership Initiatives.
